She became a title examiner in the Nassau County Clerk’s Office where her responsibilities included examining not only County Clerk’s records but also those of Supreme Court and Surrogates Court. In 1990 she accepted the position of Production Manager for Security Title’s Nassau office supervising a staff of 6 people. In 1993 Ms. Sheridan began her career as a title reader for First American Title Insurance Company of NY starting in the “Lender’s Division” which handled second mortgages and in 1996 became a part of Branch, where she became experienced in both residential and commercial transactions.
