Ernest G. Mendler, Title Officer, brings over 38 years of title insurance experience to our Company. He has examined titles in all five Boroughs of the City of New York and in Nassau County. While in the employ of Security Title & Guaranty Company, starting in 1967, he was trained in all aspects of examining, reading, office production, bookkeeping, sales and claims operations. As Senior Title Officer of the main office in Manhattan, he was responsible for the reading of complicated commercial projects throughout the States of New York and New Jersey. After the acquisition of Security Title by Fidelity National Title in 1993 he was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Senior Title Officer. Since leaving Fidelity in 1994, he has been associated with Commonwealth Land Title and First American Title Insurance Company of New York handling the reading of residential and commercial fee and leasehold transactions. He joined Seaport Title Agency in 2001. Mr. Mendler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University School of Education and is a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a National Professional Fraternity for Marketing, Sales Management and Selling.
