Amy Kelly, President and Counsel has been involved in title insurance since 1977. She has been Counsel to three major underwriters, Security Title and Guaranty Company, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company in their Long Island operations, with underwriting responsibility for both commercial and residential transactions. She earned her law degree from St. John’s University and was admitted to the Bar in 1979. She serves on the Title and Transfer Committee of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association and previously served as chairperson of the Survey Committee of the New York State Land Title Association. A member of the Nassau County and Queens County Bar Associations, she is a frequent lecturer on title insurance matters for members of the Bar. Her article, “Adverse Possession: Not a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” was published in The New York Law Journal on March 26, 1997. In 2003, Ms Kelly was honored by The March of Dimes as one of its Women of Distinction. Ms. Kelly may be reached at 516-867-5100, extension 103.
